Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to velkinui.com (the "Site") operated by Velkin, and related documentation, demos (including Studio), and APIs. By using the Site you agree to these Terms.

Free (MIT) packages such as @velkin/ui, @velkin/react, and @velkin/vue are licensed under the MIT License as published with each package.

Pro packages (for example @velkin/ui-pro) require a commercial Pro license and a valid license key. Pro use without a license is not permitted. Pricing and seat rules are described on the Pricing and License pages and in your order confirmation or signed agreement.

Pro packages may be publicly downloadable. Public availability does not grant production usage rights or convert commercially licensed software into open-source software. If terms conflict, a signed order controls, followed by these Terms, followed by the license notice included with the package.

A commercial license permits the purchasing organization to use covered Pro versions in its own applications within the developer-seat, organization, domain, and other limits in its plan or order. Contractors with access to an application's Pro implementation count as developers. End users may receive Pro code only as part of the licensed application, not as a separately reusable development library.

You may not, unless a signed order expressly permits it:

• Redistribute, sublicense, sell, rent, or publish Pro as a standalone package
• Expose Pro through a component library, SDK, builder, or service that substitutes for it
• Share a key outside the licensed organization or exceed purchased developer seats
• Remove or bypass copyright, watermark, or technical license-enforcement notices
• Use Pro to create a substantially competing general-purpose UI library

Docs, examples, and Studio are provided for evaluation and learning. Demo data is fictional. The Site may change, and features may be added or removed without notice.

You are responsible for keeping Pro license keys confidential and for use within the seats and orgs covered by your agreement. Do not share keys publicly or embed them in open-source repositories.

You agree not to:

• Abuse APIs (including license validate/issue) or attempt unauthorized access
• Scrape the Site in a way that degrades service for others
• Misrepresent affiliation with Velkin
• Use Pro components outside the scope of your license

Paid Pro and Team plans are billed annually through Stripe (or your order confirmation). You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from the dashboard Manage billing portal (or by contacting sales@velkinui.com). Cancellation stops future charges. Versions of Pro released during the paid year remain usable; newer Pro packages require a renewed license.

Because digital licenses are delivered immediately after payment, fees are generally non-refundable once a license key has been issued, except where required by law or where we agree in writing (for example a duplicate charge or a clear billing error). Enterprise agreements may specify different refund or credit terms.

Seat counts and commercial license scope follow your order confirmation and the License page. Misuse of keys (sharing beyond seats, public disclosure) may result in revocation without refund.

THE SITE AND SOFTWARE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, VELKIN WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR SOFTWARE.

These Terms are governed by the laws of State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in State of Delaware, United States have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protections apply.

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page. Continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
