Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Velkin ("we", "us") handles information when you visit velkinui.com, use our documentation, Studio demo, or contact us about Free or Pro licensing.

We may collect:

• Account details you provide when signing up (email, name) and session data needed to keep you signed in.
• Contact details you send us (name, email, company, message) when you reach out for sales or support.
• Billing metadata processed by Stripe when you purchase Pro or Team (we do not store full card numbers).
• License validation data such as a Pro license key you paste into the License page — processed to verify status, not stored for marketing.
• Background license status data from newer Pro package versions: a random, non-secret license identifier may be checked periodically to detect revocation. The package does not send the full license key, application content, user identity, or seat activity. Network failures do not disable components.
• Technical logs typical of a hosted site (IP address, user agent, request path, timestamps) for security and reliability.
• Product analytics when enabled: aggregate page views and Web Vitals via Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights, and optionally privacy-friendly Plausible (domain configured with NEXT_PUBLIC_PLAUSIBLE_DOMAIN). These tools are first-party or cookieless where possible; we do not use them to sell advertising profiles.
• Error monitoring when Sentry is configured (DSN in environment): exception stacks, browser/runtime context, and related request metadata to fix outages. Do not put secrets in client-visible error messages.

We use information to:

• Respond to sales, licensing, and support requests
• Issue and validate Pro licenses and process payments
• Operate, secure, and improve the site and docs
• Measure traffic and reliability (analytics and error monitoring)
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell personal information.

The site may store preferences locally (for example theme preference via VuThemeProvider) and authentication session cookies required to keep you signed in. Optional product analytics (Vercel Analytics / Speed Insights and Plausible when configured) load only after you accept analytics in the on-site consent banner; your choice is stored in localStorage as velkin-analytics-consent. If we add advertising cookies, we will disclose them here and require a separate consent step where required by law.

We may share information with infrastructure, email, payment (Stripe), analytics (Vercel / Plausible when enabled), and error-monitoring (Sentry when enabled) providers that process it on our behalf, or when required by law. We do not share license keys or contact forms with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

Contact correspondence is retained as long as needed to fulfill your request and keep ordinary business records. Server logs are retained for a limited operational window. License validation requests are processed ephemerally unless needed for abuse prevention.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, or to object to certain processing. Contact privacy@velkinui.com to make a request.

The site is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
